Fabulous Rare Ikea 90’s Amiral Modernist Sideboard in Oak Veneer. It has a stunning colour to it and über stylish with it. As you can see perfect as a console or side table for lamps and books. Although it has a very Mid Century Modern look (not everyone wants the teak 60/70’s furniture). Some collectors prefer the more’modernist’ style. And this perfectly fits that brief. Clearly highly sought after in good used condition. Many Ikea items are now becoming sought after because of limited production runs over the years. Structurally absolutely sound – legs and body perfect. A few general wear and tear blemishes and nicks here and there, to be expected. It does have a little bubbling on the top. I’ve taken some photos to try and show that. However, I personally don’t think it affects the look but please bear this in mind. With books/lamp/TV etc – it is easy for it to be insignificant. It really is quite striking in real life and very much a functional and industrial look with the brushed chrome handles and edging. This item is VERY heavy. And I mean VERY heavy. It would take 2 people to lift and 2 people who can lift it easily. Just a beautiful individual original piece to mix and create individual and eclectic living spaces. Incredibly Rare Über Cool IKEA Energi Rock Table Lamp by Magnus Elebäck & Carl Öjestam. With the original metal base rather than the plastic option.. This has become an iconic IKEA classic. And there are not so many in good working order. They really are not easy to come by in such good working order.. Utterly stunning in real life.. And every one who ever sees it comments.. Very simple and absolutely reflects the Mid Century aesthetics.. No cracks in plastic and structurally absolutely perfect.. (age related patina on plastic but again nothing whatsoever detrimental)I really want to say’very good condition’ because it is but I guess because of the age and daily use of these I will stick with good (but I think it’s awesome) I have one myself. Robin Day Sofa Bed Habitat Grey 3 Seater Mid-Century Retro

Robin Day Sofa Bed – produced by Habitat around 1995. Elegant, slim, low rise design with walnut veneer arms and adjustable back-rest, which can be lifted and rotated downwards to create a generously sized single bed. This sofa has its original cotton/polyester fabric upholstery which apart from the odd minor pull is in very good condition. The piece is similar to the original, designed in 1957 which, in the same year, won the Design Council Design of the Year award. An example is now held in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Dimensions: Height: 68cm x L: 207cm x D: 86cm Seat Depth: 60cm Seat Height: 38cmSleeping Area: 83cm x 199cm. The sofa is in overall good condition but is listed as used so do not expect a new or refurbished item. As mentioned previously a few, barely noticeable pulls in the fabric. One of the metal stops which hold the back in place when up is missing but this doesn’t seem to affect it. Originally designed in 1964 by Robin Day for Hille then later reintroduced by Habitat under the guidance of Tom Dixon this 1990’s issue Forum Lounge Chair expresses an overtly luxurious feel with a strong architectural aesthetic. Upholstered in soft, real leather the loose cushions sit within Beech panels supported by chromed steel pillars, the construction is clearly defined and continued a theme seen in many of Days earlier designs. Comfortable and aesthetically pleasing from all angles the piece doesn’t compromise on quality and will make a spectacular addition to any interior as a stand alone lounge chair. Vintage 70s Palaset modular storage cubes by Habitat, designed by Ristomatti Ratia. Mid century units that bolt together, or can be used separately. In good condition, though have seen use, some rubbing to the green fronts, and a few small scratches and marks to the outer. Overall pretty good however. Two spare handles included. Fabulous combination of green, yellow and brown, very typical of the period. Each cube measures 34.5cm on each side. Collection in person preferred.
