Mid century sideboard / chest of drawers. Designed under danish influence and manufactured by Younger in late 60`s. Four spacious drawers. Good for storage. Younger badge can be found at the back of a first. Very good, clean condition. All drawers run smooth. Great as tv/plasma stand for compact space. 47.5 cm x 123.5 cm. Dyrlund Brutalist Danish Sideboard Chest Of Drawers Vintage Retro Mid Century

Absolutely stunning Danish compact sideboard by Danish furniture maker Dyrlund in walnut , a rare old unit I’ve not seen any the same before something a bit different it’s got a brutalist design style to it. Originally late 80’s early 90s office furniture so it’s extremely heavy and well made definitely built to last please be aware for collecting it’s weight. Has 4 drawers and 2 deep drawers the top drawer has a divined that can be moved on a different width settings. Size in cm W100 D43 H82. Please read : many people do not know the difference between solid wood, real wood veneer, formica, artificial wood veneers. Many people list things as solid wood but the vast majority of items from this era are real wood veneer even the most expensive of brands and many budget brands have a mix. Mid century teak chest of drawers by Austinsuite. Featuring 6 drawers in total with solid teak lip handles. Overall good used condition. One small chip to top edge as pictured, although not noticeable in use. Couple of minor scratches to top. Very minor wear and tear and overall a lovely looking piece. Stag Minstrel Chest of Three Drawers. Please message with your postcode for a quote. This is the wider set of drawers not so often seen. Designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag the Minstrel range was made from makore (or African Cherry), both solid and veneered. The runner for the top draw has a small piece which has broken away causing a slight drop in the drawer, it needs a slight lift when closing or could potentially be repaired. Vintage/Retro/Mid Century Avalon Teak & Veneer Chest of 4 Drawers. Here is a lovely chest of drawers in teak and teak veneer by Avalon, dating from the 1960s. They are finished in veneered teak and have solid teak handles. The chest of drawers does have a few age related marks and scuffs as you can see in the pictures, it is in good original condition though. It is safe and sturdy, and there are no signs of major damage or repairs. The drawers all run smoothly. There are a few signs of wear and use but probably less than would usually be expected for well-loved furniture that has been in use for over 50 years. Vintage mid century retro Austinsuite teak chest of five drawers. This was originally retailed by one of the Grange Furniture stores in London. I assume it has a teak wood finish which has some gorgeous wood grains to it. It is in good condition for its age but it does have some wear and tear around it.
