A cocktail cabinet, drinks cabinet or gin bar from the 1960s mid century having a large lockable storage cupboard to the base with sections for 6 tall bottles and further room for more to stand in front of these. Also in this area are two small useful drawers with the original green baize lining. Above this a drop down door with a lid that automatic lifts at the same time to reveal a large drinks storage and preparation area, with an automatic light which turns on and off with the action of the door and lid… (the light has been re wired by a professional electrician with extra lead added for ease of placement). Fully mirrored in this section as well as on the back of the drop down door drinks prep area which also has a wine glass holder, all in good condition as well as having a lemon squeezer and cocktail pins. The handle is original as is the lock and key. The whole piece has been painted in a black durable VOC and toxin free mineral paint, with some areas left to show the natural wood grain in a retro style.
