BEAUTILITY VINTAGE RETRO TEAK SIDEBOARD / TV MEDIA UNIT 1960s Danish style

Here is lovely piece of mid-century design from the 1960s, British made by Beautility furniture and fast becoming a rare model. Great quality piece in nice condition. Lovely lighter teak colour and pleasing grain pattern to the wood. Very elegant subtle curved shape to front. Solid wood frame finished in rich teak veneers with solid wooden fin handles & legs. A large sideboard with ample storage and making a great tv / media unit. CONDITION overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks. Top has been stripped and refinished with only light marks remaining. Scratches and small area filled to drawers fronts. 77 high x 184 wide x 48 deep. The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax. I convert some to’Hairpin leg’ pieces if they have no legs / ugly legs or missing legs. I do NOT allow customers to arrange their own couier as I cannot accept responsibility for the item in transit. Beautility Teak Sideboard Retro Vintage Mid Century Danish Style

A stunning Beautility teak Sideboard with superb quality and craftsmanship throughout. The teak grain is figurative and vibrant with book matched grain to the door fronts. The base and edges of the doors are in a contrasting lighter beech wood. It stands on a decorative u shaped supports with arched and angled struts. Its strong and sturdy with no loose joints or wobbles. All drawers and doors open and close smoothly. It has been professionally restored and is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of wear and use.
