At the back of the desk is an attribution label showing this desk was made by Astrola a British company that manufactured office furniture including cabinets and desks. Three drawers one side and two the other with pull out shelves above and a large central drawer, all with original shaped handles. Condition report- In good/used condition. Showing signs of previous use with ink stains and signs of wear to the wood – commensurate with age and use, just adds to the charm in my opinion. Overall, a sturdy and handsome desk. Please be aware that this item does show signs of use but that is to be expected considering its age and does add authenticity to the item. Please make sure you study the pictures as these go to making up a large part of the description. Vintage light oak veneer sideboard dating from the mid 20th century. Really unusual piece with lots of doors. I think this would be great fitted into a camper van conversion! Antique Bank of Vintage Mid Century Haberdashery Shop Counter Display Drawers

Vintage haberdashery shop drawers dating from the mid 20th century c1950. Unusually constructed from pine. Plywood drawer bases and hardboard back. Although these have been thoroughly treated, there are a few worm holes to the drawer bases, a couple of drawer fronts and to the side. The drawers run smoothly but a couple need a little wiggle to push all the way in. Some of the drawers are marked / stained. All glass is intact as are all handles. Antique vintage mid century Haberdashery cabinet

Sizes = Height 198cm Width 183.5cm Depth 45.5cm. Top section lifts off the base for moving. Here is a beautiful shop haberdashery cabinet. With double sliding doors to the top, sliding doors below with a selection of slide out trays and 4 good sized long deep drawers below. The glazed doors can be removed if required. This will one have been part of a larger piece. Probably a full bank of these in a shop. Provides and good amount of storage. Condition = Very good, strong and sturdy. Minor marks here and there but nothing serious. (see pics) as this has probably been fitted or part of a larger piece. There are a few chips to the edges of the glass doors. Some wear and marks to the top of the base. Please look through all of the photographs and ask if you have any questions.
