Vintage 60s Avalon Tallboy Teak Chest of Drawers. Retro G Plan Danish Mid Century

Condition with stunning grain to the doors. A stunning design with great lines, very minimal. The teak grain is amazing. Running down the piece. The chest is in very good to excellent condition, the chest has been loved and well cared for, it’s really clean and looks great. The joints are all good and solid, the teak is very good, strong colour and grain. The sideboard sits well and have no wobbles. The top is in great condition, it’s been re waxed and looks perfect with no issues , nothing detracting as you can see from the photos. The piece as been very well cared and looks fantastic. Please get in touch before ordering as we don’t have couriers for all countries. A 1960s teak sideboard by the quality British manufactures White and Newton. This is the beautiful Rimington model which is one of my absolute favourite, so sleek and well made. A simply stunning piece, a refined geometric cabinet in radiant teak is raised on tapered teak legs with crisp angular fronts. This is a piece that looks great from every angle and will make a statement in any contemporary space. The grain runs down the door, it’s book matched and is really striking. The inside is lined in sycamore, a really nice touch and another sign of quality. Brass hinges and hardware. A good piece of mid century furniture which has been professionally cleaned and re polished in our restoration workshop and is in very nice condition. Very very good vintage condition which no issues at all. Very high quality craftsmanship, dove tail joints throughout and nice thick drawers front and handles.
