4x Vintage Retro Mid Century Jentique Teak Dining Chairs New Yellow Upholstery

Set of four lovely teak dining chairs made by Jentique circa late 1960s and a really great example of the Danish influence in British design of the time. The chairs are in fab vintage condition with minimal wear and tear, and the frames have been cleaned and oiled to bring the grain back to life. The seats have been freshly upholstered with new foam and a beautiful hard wearing yellow weave fabric which complements the tones of the wood nicely! Mid Century furniture is becoming more and more collectible nowadays as its design is absolutely timeless and will fit in well with most interior schemes, whether ultra contemporary or a more eclectic mix of furniture, and even the mainstream press are publishing articles about how pieces like this are becoming modern “antiques”. Vanson Sideboard, Peter Hayward, Teak & Rosewood, Mid Century, Retro, Vintage

This is a beautiful mid century sideboard designed by Peter Hayward for Vanson, circa 1950s-60s. It has a simple retro design and is finished in teak veneer with rosewood to the front and brass handles. The sideboard is sturdy and in good vintage condition with light wear. There are some small knocks and scuffs, mainly to the edges, and light scratches to the ends and legs. The drawers move smoothly. Please see pictures for details of the condition and ask if you have any concerns. There may be some areas we cannot cover but we will advise alternative options where possible. He works alone so would require assistance with heavy or bulky items, also please make arrangements for extra help if you have several flights of stairs or an awkward entrance. 1940s Dodgem Balustrades Vintage Fairground Panels Retro Mid Century

We have a quantity of these panels for sale. They have come direct to us from the carnival family that used to operate them as as a ride and date from 1947. They really are quite charming and we love the colourful marbled effect hand painted on to the metal. They look fantastic as decorative objects either mounted or leant up against the wall. They would even work really well in a garden or for an event/festival. Roughly measuring 240cm X 80cm X 7cm. They all vary a little condition wise but all have worn paint as can be seen in photographs, all we have done is rubbed them back a little to remove the excess flaky paint but still have some in the condition they came to us in if that would suit you more. STONEHILL VINTAGE RETRO TEAK SIDEBOARD / TV MEDIA UNIT 1960s Danish style

Here is lovely piece of mid-century design from the 1960s, British made by STONEHILL furniture and fast becoming a rare model. Great quality piece in nice condition. Lovely lighter teak colour and pleasing grain pattern to the wood. Solid wood frame finished in rich teak veneers with solid wooden fin handles & legs. A large sideboard with ample storage and making a great tv / media unit. CONDITION overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks. Light ring marks to top. Wear to finish on the handles. The light of still present on drop down section but wire cut off to back. 75 high x 198 wide x 45 deep. The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax.
